ClipWall is a tool a product team (the buyer) uses to collect video and written testimonials. People who record or write (submitters) do not create an account.

What we store

For a buyer we store the email used to sign in, a workspace, project settings (name, prompt, consent line, duration bounds, and whether the wall is public), and plan usage counts. Magic-link tokens and session cookies are stored as hashes. We do not keep a password.

For a submission we store the name, optional company and role, the video file or the written text, when consent was given, and the review status the buyer sets. If a speech-to-text provider is configured, a caption may be stored with the video. In this preview, captions are a local stub unless those keys are set.

Video files sit on the disk of the machine running this preview unless object storage is configured later. There is no separate CDN in this version.

Who can see it

A buyer sees only their own workspace. Another buyer cannot list those projects or submissions. A collection page and an embed are public only by the project link. Approved items appear on the wall when the buyer has left public display on. Pending, rejected, and deleted items stay off the wall. A private wall does not serve its video files to people who are not signed in to that workspace.

The person who operates this ClipWall instance can open a founder admin page, if their email is listed in the server configuration, to see plan and usage and to ban an account. That page is not in the buyer navigation. Banning blocks sign-in. It does not approve testimonials.

Email and analytics

If a mail provider key is set, sign-in links are emailed. If it is not set, this preview shows the one-time link on the sign-in page and labels that state Preview-only. If Google sign-in is configured, Continue with Google asks Google for a verified email. That address is stored on the existing account when one already uses it. We do not email submitters.

Product analytics go to PostHog only when a project key is configured. With no key, those events are not sent. We do not sell personal information.

Deletion

The buyer can delete a submission. That removes it from the wall, deletes the stored file, and frees that video or text slot. Rejecting a submission does not free the slot. Archiving or deleting a project removes it from the active project count.

Questions about a specific testimonial go to the product team that sent the collection link. Questions about this ClipWall instance go to the operator of the workspace you signed in with.
